New management reports from HARRASSOWITZ:

HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to offer four new management reports for periodicals and continuations, to assist you in your collection management activities. To request any of the management reports listed below, log in to OttoSerials and click on "Management Reports" on the Main Menu. Note that not all usernames have permission to request management reports.

Each of these reports may be requested as a one-time report or on a regular schedule. All are delivered as Excel spreadsheets.

Cumulated Notification Report (CNR)

The CNR summarizes periodical and standing order notifications sent to your library by HARRASSOWITZ. It lists all notifications sent within a specified date range and can be limited to various types of notification, such as title change, claim, cancellation, order confirmation, etc.

By requesting specific notification types or by sorting the complete report, you can use the CNR to improve the efficiency of your acquisitions and claiming activities.

Claim Restrictions Report (CRR)

The CRR lists claim restrictions for periodical titles currently on order by your library; for example, "claims for missing issues must be made within 3 months of publication." The report can be limited to orders for a particular customer code, fund code, publisher, medium, publication frequency, and/or publication year. This report can be helpful in setting up automatic claims criteria in your local system and this in turn will minimize the number of unfilled claims.

Not on Order List (NOOL)

The NOOL report lists periodicals and continuations that are not on order by your library. This report is useful for libraries wishing to examine what additional publications they might want to order in a certain subject area, or in a certain language, or by a certain publisher, etc., or combinations thereof. The NOOL report can answer questions like the following:

What German-language daily newspapers does my library not receive through HARRASSSOWITZ?
What nursing journals does my library not receive through HARRASSSOWITZ?
What online publications from Spain does my library not receive through HARRASSSOWITZ?

Consolidated Delivery Note Report (CDR)

The CDR summarizes shipping information for consolidated periodical shipments from HARRASSOWITZ. This report is relevant to only those customers who use HARRASSOWITZ´s consolidated shipment service for print periodicals.

The CDR is helpful for systematically tracking your consolidated shipments or reviewing past shipments.

When requesting a CDR, you may ask for a range of delivery note numbers or a range of ship dates, or both. The report will include only those delivery notes that fall within those note numbers or those dates.
