Release of Version 1.4 of Parker Library on the Web:

HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to announce the release of Version 1.4 of Parker Library on the Web, the interactive, web-based workspace designed to support study of the manuscripts in the historic Parker Library at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.

This fourth incremental release since the launch of Parker Library on the Web in the Fall of 2009 constitutes the most substantial corrective content release to date. More than 500 additional image reshoots and some sequencing corrections were integrated into the site, involving 151 different manuscripts, bringing the images to a state of 99% or better accuracy across the total of over 200,000 images. Corrections to manuscript descriptions, summaries and bibliography, as well as approximately 100 new bibliographic citations, are also incorporated in this release.
