HARRASSOWITZ supplies scholarly monographs, research materials and literary texts published throughout Europe in all formats and in all languages.
HARRASSOWITZ supplies CD-ROMs, CDs, DVD, videos and audio books published in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as e-books from sources worldwide.
OttoEditions, HARRASSOWITZ’s online database of monographs and music scores, contains over 2 million titles from over 55,000 publishers. Approximately 100,000 titles are added each year.
HARRASSOWITZ receives orders by e-mail, post, fax; or online through OttoEditions; also electronically in X12 or EDIFACT format.
Duplication control is provided against existing HARRASSOWITZ standing orders, approval plans, and previous firm orders.
MARC 21 
records can be supplied for firm orders or items sent on approval.
Electronic invoicing in standard formats can be provided.
OttoEditions allows libraries to enter firm orders, to review ordering activity, to check on the status of orders, to select titles in advance of ordering, and to e-mail title information.
For the HARRASSOWITZ Approval Plan, academic and research libraries may define detailed selection profiles. The standing order service provides for the acquisition of works that are published in parts or sets. Rare and older materials can be obtained through the out-of-print searching service for monographs.
HARRASSOWITZ will supply expenditure reports on request, for both firm orders and approval plan selections, broken out by subject classification, publisher, language, country of publication, publication year, or fund code.
HARRASSOWITZ offers customized notification plans for new publications from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, by e-mail or in printed slips.
