AIP extends subscription coverage:
The American Institute of Physics has announced that current subscription coverage to its online journals will now include online access back to 1999, instead of its previous 5-year rolling backfile. Libraries continue to have the option to subscribe to the complete archives back to Vol. 1 No. 1 for an additional fee. Access to the permanent archive through the AIP Digital Archive may be purchased for a one-time fee.
Three of the AIP online journals remain free to in 2011: Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy, Biomicrofluidics, and APL: Organic Electronics and Photonics.
AIP will maintain libraries' tier assignments for the 2011 subscription year.
