De Gruyter Offers Improved Pricing Model for 2010:

De Gruyter, a German-based publisher of scholarly works in the humanities and natural sciences, recently announced new pricing options on its 2010 database offerings. The new pricing includes the following highlights:

Choice of rental or purchase. Most databases from De Gruyter are now available through either annual subscription or outright purchase (with perpetual access).
No fees for simultaneous users. De Gruyter databases are now available to an unlimited number of simultaneous users – at no extra charge.
No platform fee. De Gruyter no longer charges an access fee for using its platform.
List prices now available. To provide transparency, De Gruyter now provides list prices for all its online databases.
Continual Access Rights. De Gruyter now offers perpetual access rights on selected databases after six years of renting.
