FTE counts needed for online journals with tiered pricing:

As more and more publishers adopt an FTE-based tiered pricing model, HARRASSOWITZ is increasingly dependent upon institutional FTE counts in order to prepare the correct prices for online journals.

We would like to encourage all online journal customers to let us know your institutional FTE count by completing the E-resources Profile in OttoSerials.  This will speed up the order and activation process and will contribute to accurate billing.

After logging in to OttoSerials, click on “HARRASSOWITZ Account Information,” and then click on “Create/Modify” following the E-resources Profile label.  You will see that three different FTE counts are asked for: medicine, life sciences, and entire institution.  All of these are important, since different publishers base their prices on different counts.

In order to update the E-resources Profile, your username must have permission to maintain HARRASSOWITZ Account Information.  Your OttoSerials coordinator can let you know which usernames may update HARRASSOWITZ Account Information.  All usernames may view the account information.
