HARRASSOWITZ Announces De Gruyter Electronic Series:
HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to announce that all De Gruyter monographic series and multi-part sets are now available online. Under its "Make the Switch" program, De Gruyter gives libraries the opportunity to convert their orders for series and multi-part sets from print to online or to add the online version to their current print orders.
The electronic versions of De Gruyter's series and multi-part sets give users the following advantages:
- Immediate and 24 hour availability of content
- Both simple and advanced search options on the De Gruyter online platform, including full-text search
- Ability to download bibliographical data into citation software
- No signed license required
The De Gruyter electronic series and multi-part sets can be ordered through HARRASSOWITZ and are listed in OttoSerials, HARRASSOWITZ's online management system for periodicals and standing orders. Individual monographs for each series can also be ordered and are included in OttoEditions, HARRASSOWITZ's online management system for monographs and music scores. HARRASSOWITZ's sophisticated duplication control mechanism prevents duplication of orders between print and electronic versions and also between single volume orders and standing orders that are supplied by HARRASSOWITZ.
To convert orders for De Gruyter series or multiple-part sets from print to electronic or to find out more about this offer, please contact service@harrassowitz.de or your Regional Sales Manager.
Please note that as of December 2011, De Gruyter's online platform will be renamed "De Gruyter Online". The new website will not only contain title information currently accessible on www.degruyter.com, but will also direct users to the online content of e-books, e-journals and databases that are currently available on www.reference-global.com. Detailed information on what the switch to the new platform means for your library can be found on their website.
