Taylor & Francis E-Books:

Taylor & Francis's E-Books publishing program includes over 15,000 titles from the imprints Routledge, Routledge-Cavendish, Garland, CRC Press, Psychology Press and Taylor & Francis.

Taylor & Francis offers 30 eCollections in key subject areas, available by annual subscription or outright purchase. The aim of the eCollections is to enhance the user experience of any library and to complement the rest of the Taylor & Francis online publishing program. A library's eCollections are accessible online from anywhere, with web access by IP authentication or
username/password. Each title within an eCollection subscription can be viewed by five online users simultaneously, and an online reservation system is provided if anyone is ever unable to access a title.

Also, individual users within the library can see their own copy of each E-Book - so a user is able to annotate, highlight and add bookmarks. Users may print up to 5% of each E-Book in the library collection.

The annual subscription prices for Taylor & Francis eCollection packages are normally based on 25% of the list price of each book, but for a limited introductory period, an annual subscription is offered to a number of new packages at GBP 10 per title. These introductory packages are listed at their website. The option to purchase each package outright is still available during the introductory period.

Taylor & Francis additionally offers a "best sellers" package of E-Books, containing 100 E-Books in each of 24 different subject areas.

Alternatively, libraries may choose individual E-Books to create their own collections. These are available for annual subscription or outright purchase, and are priced according to the total number of E-Books ordered. For outright purchase, a minimum 50-title initial purchase is required, after which further individual titles can be purchased and added to the collection at any time. A maintenance fee of at least £150/$250 is applicable but will be waived for those who purchase new content equal or greater in value to the fee.

Starting in the spring of 2008, Taylor & Francis E-Books will be migrated to the informaworld platform, which will then include all of Taylor & Francis's E-Journals and E-Books.
