The supplementary volumes Trends in Classics combine Classical Philology’s insights into Greek and Latin texts with the methods of related disciplines and with theoretical approaches used in modern literatures, such as narratology, intertextuality, reader-response criticism, oral poetics etc. However, Trends in Classics will not ignore important findings of more “traditional” studies, which are not a priori excluded, as long as they adopt an interdisciplinary approach.
The Supplementary Volumes of Trends in Classics will be published with no restrictions of form. Monographs, edited volumes, conference proceedings and collections of papers are invited as long as they ultimately contribute to the ongoing debate about the relevance of classics in today’s world.
